AJFN appoints Daniel Ross as Treasurer and bids a heartfelt farewell to Nir Golan after five years of dedicated service.

The Australian Jewish Fertility Network (AJFN), welcomes Daniel Ross to its Board as Treasurer, following Nir Golan’s five-year tenure.

Farewell and thank you, Nir Golan

AJFN bids a warm and heartfelt farewell to Nir Golan, whose connection to the organisation stretches back to 2021, when he first joined as a board observer. Recognising his commitment and expertise, AJFN invited Nir to take on the formal role of Treasurer in 2023, a natural progression that reflected the board’s trust and confidence in him.

Over the years that followed, Nir made an indelible contribution to AJFN’s growth and direction. He was instrumental in guiding the organisation through the development and execution of its three-year strategic plan, a foundational roadmap that has shaped AJFN’s expanded programs, financial sustainability and community reach. Nir also played a key role in AJFN’s expansion into Melbourne, helping to bring the organisation’s vital support services to Jewish families in Victoria.

“I want to express my deepest gratitude and respect for Nir. He has been a constant source of wisdom, integrity and care. On a personal level, it has been a privilege to work alongside someone who brings such sincerity, sensitivity, thoughtfulness and dedication to everything he does. Nir is a true mensch, and his contribution to AJFN has been both meaningful and enduring. We will miss him greatly, and we wish him and his family every happiness as they begin this exciting new chapter making aliyah.”
